December 12, 2013 BLOG REVIVAL Unseen Treasures
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.------Ephesians 3:16 (nlt) Ephesians 3:16 (kjv) That he would grant you according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man. I like to shop, I like to go in stores and see the latest new items on the shelf, since I have a fetish for shoes and bags, well that's usual where I make a bee-line for, excited at what I may find or see, knowing it's going to be over my budget. I look around the store at all the people shopping and looking as I trying to decided if they should purchase the item as cash or credit card. It's amazing that everyday we walk into just that kind of store and don't realize that we see extraordinary wealth everyday. I know that went right over your head and that is my message today, that you are important to God. What is this wealth that he,the Apostle Paul is so absorbed and awed by, he doesn't seem to be in a retail store, not even at the New York Stock Exchange but still he is passionate enough to give testimony about it. We find here this wealth is (YOU), God through His Son has given you mighty inner strength through the Holy Spirit, this same power that raised Jesus from the grave, that came at Pentecostal and that raised Lazarus. It is when we know who we are in Christ that our faith should leap to the mountains, for God has equipped us with power that comes from the inner man. On this journey of life we find many trials and tribulations but it is Christ Our Redeemer who promised that we are saved through His blood, ransomed from this wicked world. The Apostle Paul gives testimony even for generations to come after us that within us lies mighty strength to go through anything unscathed,no mountain to high, for God has given us the power through the Holy Spirit, so we are equipped for any challenge that comes our way. It is the inner man who God is molding on the potters wheel, testing like fire through the outer man that we should find the peace of God and His steadfast love that shall never die. Dig deep into the roots of Christ love, there you will find peace, security and mighty strength to run the race God has given to you and your life will be ever richer when your trust is placed in His hands. God loves you and this prayer is about spiritual empowerment not for the outer man but for Him that lives away from the unseen world for we are more valuable to God than anything created for Christ paid a great price, his life that you may live again through Him. In prayer and supplication the spirit groans and speaks for us. Ephesians 3:19-20 (nlt) May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now glory be to God!
