Ephesians 4:23--to be made new in the attitude of your minds, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

I can remember as a young teenager having the responsiblity of taking care of my duties around the house, my chores which what I didn't realize was preparing me for real, everday living. There were times when I had to sacriface playing with my friends, riding my bike to help with more than I was assigned to do because my mother was in the hospital and I had become the women of the house. This brought on another identity for me and my role in the family. This is the perfect example we can see in our lives in the kingdom of God, for each of us has our own identity to serve in the house of the Lord know matter how enormous or small we all are seen to be beneficial to God, our new attitude in Christ has brought us into a totally different relationship with others thus the work we are assigned to complete gives us joy and a indwelling peace for we are a new creature. Thus we see with this new attitude we find renewal and a strength we never believed possible. We are seen as a reflection of His wonderful light for we are reflecting off of His light. Jesus our comforter and strength has equipped us as compassionate givers and receivers for what He has done for us and our identity in Him. This new and extrodinary life can and will bring about miracles and wonders in your life and God's pleasing gift, His Son, Jesus Christ.

"Serving spiritual cuisine to the Masses "

In this journey to walk with  God through His Son, Jesus we again want to share encouraging words that may give you empowement in mind, spirit and body through the Word of God.

      Psalms 116
I love the Lord because he hears and answers my prayers. Because he bends down and listens, I will  pray as long  as I have breath!
Death had it's hands around my throat: the terrors of the grave * overtook me. I saw only trouble and sorrow.
Then I called on the name of the Lord: "Please, Lord save me! "
How kind the Lord is!  How good  he is!  So merciful, this God of ours!
The Lord protects those of childlike faith: I was facing death, and then he saved me.
Now I can rest again, for the Lord has been so good to me. He has saved me from death,  my eyes from tears,  my feet from stumbling.
And so I walk in the Lord's presence  as I live here on earth!
I believed in you,  so I prayed,  "I am deeply  troubled, Lord. " In my anxiety  I cried  out to you.
" These  people are all liars! "
What can I offer  the Lord for all he has done for me?
I will lift up my cup symbolizing his salvation :
I will praise the Lord's name for saving me.
I will keep my promises  to the Lord in the presence of all his people.
The Lord's loved ones are precious to him,  it grieves him when they die.
O Lord,  I am your servant, the  son of your handmaid,  and you have freed me from my bones!
I will offer you a sacrifice  of thanksgiving  and call on the name of the Lord.
I will keep my promises to the Lord in the presence of all his people, in the  house of the Lord,  in the heart of Jerusalem.

  Praise the Lord!

It is always  a joy to send a message of encouragement and empowerment to the saints no matter how large or small as golden nuggets each message has its own weight for the reader in whatever situation you find yourself, the answer is still the same God is available and working in the lives of the believer. So here we start a new beginning, a new season of fresh and empowering messages for your journey to follow Jesus Christ .

    Scripture : Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd : I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures : he leadth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul : he leadeth me on the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea,  though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil : for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies : thou anointest my head with oil: my cup runneth over.
Surely  goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Amnesia Campaign: Do you know who you are in Christ?

Revelation 3:20 -----Here I am I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

The world that we know today has evolved from decade to decade, century to century,  and even though we have seen many areas of our environment change for what is suppose to be the greater for our comfort and standing , this can be questioned even now in the many events that are happening now seemingly to be our downfall instead of the better good, within this particular scripture can be seen the foundation of the Living God who has offered generation after generation His extended hand, His voice of direction and the purpose of His divine plan that no man be without shelter nor thirst or left out in the streets were the wolves prey on the faithless.
In this foundation can be found the promises of God and the attributes of all that He is. Listen attentively and you can hear the knock, even from the beginning of life itself, God has been knocking on the soul of man, the consciousness of his thoughts, that He may create the foundation of His plan and the wholeness of His promises. What is this foundation of God that calls us generation after generation into His divine dwelling? It can be heard from the tribe of Judea, He who is knocking at the very door of your life, that He has given to you the victorious life found in Him, for He has answered the call of His birth and the stature of who He is.  Isaiah 42:6-7--I, the Lord, have  called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles. to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who set in darkness.
So it is that even in the changing seasons, our circumstances may change but God's decision for our life never changes for He is the joy of a victorious life because He has paid the price, a sinless man, dying a sinful death, that we may respond to His visitation in our lives when we open the door to see the newness of our life's change, blessed in the relationship of having this personal relationship with Him. Colossians 2: 6--So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him; rooted and built up in him, strengthened in faith as you were taught, and  overflowing with thankfulness. In opening the door we can see our lives change without thought but within the Holy Spirit that teaches, guides us into the direct actions of who we are in Christ when we surrender our life to Him to find He is the fountain of living water that we may never thirst again. Isaiah 55:1--"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! The Lord never stops inviting us into His Holy dwelling, that He may share with us the goodness of all that He wants us to give us, that we may give Him praise for in Him we have victory in Christ, victory in this changing and evolving world because He who is the same today, yesterday and in the future will never stop knocking at the door of our life's .

In His Hands

         Scripture : Colossians 1:15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
                In His Hands
Looking at the life of a newborn child can be the most incredible event one can ever witness, to stare into  the face of a new life, a new creation and yet everyday we have the opportunity to see it in those we pass by, not knowing the history or testimony of their life but to see that it was God's purpose that they are here to fulfill His will in some capacity.
God has placed us on the potters wheel that He may create within us His pleasure that we might be the image of He that gave us breathe and knowledge  that our purpose may be seen in the actions of our life to prove that we are children of the Most High God  and He has given us purpose and being for we are the image of the Living God.
He has laid His hands on every difficult situation, event and cause that we may grow into spiritual maturity to be used for even greater accomplishments to give Him honor and glory. Even now as we are preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ we are yet reminded of the plans of God and the mission set before His Son to reconcile us back into Himself, for we are redeemed and through Christ we are made new by the shedding of His blood.
What uplifting news to know that His hands have been on my life all the time, that even in the struggles He was holding my hand.  In this scripture it let's us know that nothing is to hard for Him and the answer to everything is found in the name, Jesus.

Scripture                   Isaiah 61:1-- 3               The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,  because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor: he has sent me to bind up the broken hearted,  to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.: to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God: to give them a beautiful  headdress  instead  of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment  of praise  instead of a faint  spirit : that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.

In His Presence

         In His Presence
Scripture: "you make known to me the path of life: in your presence there is fullness of joy: at your right hand are pleasures forevermore."
When we let the Wisdom of God lead us into the essence of who God is we truly can find our identity with Him by listening to His words that bring us comfort, peace, and God's divine  love.
By faith that we have come to a place of lasting assurance with  Him and we have grown spiritually mature. As we walk the path of difficulties and trials  staying in His presence will keep us in His abiding peace and unquenchable joy to know that God will continue to bless and guide us through.
What a wonderful and amazing thought to know that as long as you keep your mind on Him the difficulties you are facing today will at last be moved from your life.
How do we get in His presence?  First, by excepting Him as our Lord and Saviour, asking Him into our life, staying in the Word of God and believing in the Son,  Jesus Christ who gave His life .
When we are in His presence this overwhelming peace calms our fears that He is in full control over my life. Nothing is too hart for God. He is the Creator of Heaven and earth and His divine
plan for my life is in His presence".

Let Us Kneel

      Let Us Kneel
1Peter 1:3-8 Blessed  be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials., so that the tested genuineness of your faith -------may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
In looking at the upcoming event we like to call as Thanksgiving, a day where we share in the unity of brotherhood between all nations but in particular this nation as we sit at the table of peace and love may we look at the deeper meaning through the Holy Spirit that teaches us the meaning of our relationship with Jesus Christ and faith. Shall in all this we do not partake with the generous portions of food and drinks but the understanding of what He has done for us that we are brought back together with Him through His death on the cross being cleansed of our sins and being unified through the Holy Spirit that guides, teaches and gives us power that we may demonstrate our faith in action.
In the physical demonstrating of parting of food and drink this too gives us pleasure and enjoyment in the physical sense but there is another joy that fills us up not in flesh but in the spirit as we rejoice in Thanksgiving of all that God has done for us through His Son. Jesus, that we have found redemption and favor with Him, the Holy Spirit has placed within us power, confidence  in knowing who we are in Christ. Our Thanksgiving isn't in the physical aspects of the celebration but in the confidence of having a personal relationship with Him though we have never seen Him, we have a inexpressible joy and filled  with glory.
Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord  has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples: but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
What a joy that not just on this special day we call Thanksgiving Day but everyday we can share in the joyous unity of Jesus in our lives through the Holy Spirit because the power that raised Him also lives in us. The gift of eternal life and His relationship will never depart from us know matter if we depart from Him. He is faithful and His light of love shines forever on all that believe. What then shall we be thankful for?
The harvest of grain, the sweetness of wine for such is the pleasure of the palette but known can compare to know Jesus is here with us through every trial and test, even unto the end of time. Let us celebrate a God who has given life through His Son,Jesus that we may share in the joyous Thanksgiving of what God has done for us.

      Wardrobe Malfunction

   Scripture : Ephesians 6:10-18 (niv)

Finally, be strong  in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand  against the devil's schemes. For  our struggle is not against  the rulers, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces  of evil  in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth  buckled around your waist, with the breastplate  of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness  that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take  up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always  keep on praying for all the saints.
In this detail description of the Christian soldier in which Paul shares with the Ephesians, it brings a descriptive interpretation of our battle gear. In the peak of battle when we feel all our attire as Christians is in place, we find that we have forgotten and left something unbuttoned, unzipped or even left off.  When we are out of tune with our walk with God, the enemy breaks through our peace, the everlasting joy which the Lord himself gave us, we become depressed, beaten,  confused about our life, the enemy even plants fear within our spirit when the issues of our life look darken and unsure. It seems that some part of us has become as shadows in our relationship with Christ even through all of His promises He has revealed time after time  this is when we have dropped our shield of faith compromising our walk with God, our trust and relationship with His ever presence.
God continues to speak the truth through His Word reminding us that He has conquered the world through His Son, Jesus Christ by His death on the cross, this is the Word of God that brings us victory. As we continue to learn that God is a faithful God, our faith increases and we mature in faith through these tests, rising out of the ashes of regret and becoming prayer warriors that can break through any situation because we are children of the Most High God. The Lord says, be strong and courageous. In this we have the mind of Christ and nothing can defeat God's plan and purpose He has for our lives.
God does understand our needs. He understands and knows the battles that confront our peace. He gives justice and mercy for His purpose and knows the battles that confront our peace  and to His choosing.
He is the light of our Salvation  and the Comforter in our storms even in our weaknesses  to lift up our faith  in the times of testing. He cares and defends  the weak  and protects those that belong to Him. Be strong and courageous.

"Who Are You In Christ? "

Colossians 3:3 For you died,  and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
As the world continues to change and evolve, we as Christians seem at risk of losing our identity from the world's concept of what it believes we should be, in this concept we seem to be at risk of loosing our identity, our own  personal structure  of how God designed us In the entity of our relationship with God,the origin about us as humans seems to be questioned. In this battle between science and theological scholars to take the credit of humanities beginning.
In reading this powerful and eye opening scripture to some who look for physical and visual attributes to some this scripture doesn't seem to add up to the power to which it should gain a glorious factor of who we truly are. Yet we can look at the context of the message written by the apostle, Paul who has writtenmessage to the church, the Christian faith and the mystery of the Gospel of Jesus Christ yet unparalleled to the human eye those who have a relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit and the power of faith believe the promises of God.
It is when a person gives  his/her life to Christ they are a new person baptized by the Holy Spirit, filled and full of light and power in this we recognize "the new man" or "inner man"
This is when the full text of the scripture unveils and approves worthy against any science or theologian that the Word of God never changes and that though we are changing it is by His will for those that believe are in Christ Jesus for He is in those that do believe and filtered in love.
